In Kolkata, India in the Critical Cancer Management Research Centre and Clinic (CCMRCC), A. Chatterjee et[i] al got a very encouraging result of an alternative cancer treatment study. The study was carried out as a prospective and observational, single arm study conducted from June 2001 to July 2009.
In developing countries, the majority of cancer patients lack financial resources or have no access to proper medical infrastructures and skills for conventional cancer therapy with chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Therefore, alternative cancer treatment has become an important feature of oncology regardless of the geographic region.
Only participants with confirmed malignancy of stage 3 or 4 of stomach, gall bladder, pancreatic and liver cancer who opted for an alternative treatment with supportive treatment from the conventional medicine or alternative medicine for control of infection were enrolled.
All participants received Psorinum 6x (0.02ml/kg) orally daily for 2 years.
Some patients even experienced the complete disappearance of all tumours without disease progression or any new lesions and some partial response that means 30% regression of the tumour (see table 2):
|
Complete tumour disappearance |
Partial tumour response |
Pancreas cancer stage 1-4 |
18.18% |
29.55% |
Stomach cancer with stage 3 and 4 |
14.29% |
38.1% |
Gall bladder cancer with stage 3 and 4 |
17.5% |
42.5% |
Liver cancer stage 1-4 combined |
21.87% |
31.25% |
The comparison of the 5-year survival rates using conventional therapy with the Psorinum therapy (with supportive treatment from the conventional medicine or alternative medicine for control of infection) is very promising!
|
5 year survival rate using conventional medicine |
5 year survival outcomes in each cancer type of the study (see table 3) |
Pancreas cancer stage 1-4 |
4% [ii] |
38.64% |
Stomach cancer with stage 3 and 4 |
4-14%[iii] |
38.1% |
Gall bladder cancer with stage 3 and 4 |
<10%[iv] |
37.5% |
Liver cancer stage 1-4 combined |
<10%[v] |
43.75% |
